Carolyne

Carolyne Razzo (aka Catz) has been at COTB since 2012, back then, commuting all the way from the western suburbs. She grew up in the IPB (Igreja Presbiteriana do Brasil), and comes from a long line of faithful and devout Protestants in Brazil. Catz made her faith her own during her early teen years, and has been growing in her desire for a relationship with the Lord since. She attended Wheaton College, majoring in Sociology, and later on obtained a Biblical Theology degree from Instituto Presbiteriano Mackenzie (Andrew Jumper).

She is passionate about encouraging young people to deepen their faith and knowledge of the Lord, and challenging complacency of the heart and mind. Catz has served as a small group leader for over 8 years, currently teaches COTB’s youth group, previously served as a deacon, and has served in other capacities as well, such as teaching adult Sunday school.

Outside of church, Catz enjoys going to the beach, finding new music, reading faith related books and TV shows of the True Crime/Nordic Noir genre.
