Michael Morgan
Michael Morgan started attending COTB in 2018 after graduating from Wheaton College, where he met his wife Hannah Morgan. Growing up in the suburbs of Denver, CO, he attended various non-denominational Evangelical churches throughout his youth, but never in a committed fashion. He has since come to see that communal life is an essential component of the Christian life, and that serving the church in sacrificial love is part of Christ’s commandment for how we ought to live. Since joining COTB, Michael has served on the welcome team, as a CG leader, and with adult Sunday school.
Michael is currently a graduate student at the University of Chicago, where he is working towards a PhD in Philosophy. His research focuses on the relationship between happiness and virtue, though teaching is his passion. His favorite authors are Marilynne Robinson, Wendell Berry, and Fyodor Dostoevsky.
